Clickpik: From a Spark in 2023 to Where We Are Now
It all started in early 2023, when our founder—tired of fast fashion that felt generic and uncomfortable—decided to turn a lifelong love of textiles and design into something real. Clickpik began as a tiny operation in a sunlit Hong Kong studio, with just a few racks of handpicked linen dresses and a laptop logging the first orders. Back then, every package was packed by hand, and every customer email was answered personally—because we wanted to build something that felt human.
By mid-2023, word started to spread. Customers fell for the way our cotton dresses softened with every wash, or how our Japanese art-inspired blouses sparked conversations. We hit a big milestone that December: shipping our 10,000th order. That box went to a customer in Canada, who’d ordered three dresses for her daughter’s graduation. We included a handwritten note—something we still do for big moments—and she wrote back to say it made her day. That’s the kind of connection we knew we wanted to keep.
2024 was all about growing without losing that heart. We added boots and bags, but only after testing dozens of styles to make sure they matched our fabrics’ quality. We also partnered with two artists from Tokyo, who helped us turn traditional ukiyo-e prints into subtle patterns for our spring collection. And when shipping delays started to pop up, we hired a dedicated team to track packages and update customers—no automated “your order is on the way” messages. If a dress got stuck in customs, we’d call the courier ourselves to fix it.
This year, we’re dreaming bigger: more sustainable fabrics, a few limited-edition collabs, and maybe even a pop-up in a city where our customers live. But some things won’t change. We still source fabrics from small mills that prioritize eco-friendly practices, and we still read every review (the good, the bad, and the “this dress is perfect but runs small”).
Clickpik’s story isn’t just about clothes—it’s about the people who wear them. From that first studio in 2023 to wherever we go next, we’re grateful to be writing it with you.
